imperial eggs

Easter break has started
and here's wishing you all wonderful
surprises this holiday!

From 1885 - 1917 the House of Fabergé
produced jewelled "Imperial Eggs"
for the Russion Czar and his family.
Once opened, the eggs revealed delictately crafted
surprises such as miniature golden carriages, portraits
or animals in replica providing exquisite delight.
What will be your surprise this Easter?

gold rush

Seems there's a gold rush on the streets this Spring –
all things metallic are a must. So hoping for the Munich rain
to clear so I can pull out my golden Acne Pistol Boots
to show the world my true metal.

Combine these with babies with
any pair of skinny jeans and… Bang!

multi-tasking

Travel in style and learn Italian!
My heart stopped when I saw this striking
use of Scotch Modern and Futura typefaces
on Kate Spade´s Manuela cosmetic case.

English style

I could read this book all day – rules to remember
and illustrations to inspire by Maira Kalman.
At a weathered pine table, with a glass of cool water
i enjoy the sun.

 – One must first know the rules to break them –
a classic reference book for any conscientious writer.

urban armor

I'm mixing up a little heavy with my Spring light - you?
This Burberry Prorsum biker jacket from SS11 is an oldie
but a goodie and literally the heaviest thing in my closet.

Nothing like donning a little bit of biker chic
to your urban armor. What's your key piece to hit the streets?
